Victoria Puzach

Growth marketing for thought leaders and tech startups.

I help you be more known for what you know and for what you built.

Most people arrive wanting to go viral. So we work backwards. Why?

Going viral doesn’t necessarily bring you customers. Followers aren’t the point either. Resonance is.

So I’ll ask irritating questions. What are you actually selling? Which one claim do you want to be known for?

Some things I won’t sell you.

Agencies promise guaranteed growth — 100k followers, 10% engagement, whatever you post. I know big public figures using them right now. It’s pathetic. It buys a number that falls apart the second you stop paying, and it has never produced a genuine connection with anybody.

Social media isn’t going anywhere, which is exactly why I care what we put into it. It’s already an ocean of noise. I’d rather add something useful. Same goes for who I work with — if I don’t believe in what you’re selling, I’m the wrong person, and I’ll tell you so.

How I ended up in marketing

I have degrees in computer science and international relations. Which sounds like a joke setup, and turned out to be the job — systems and numbers on one side, markets and people on the other.

Then events management, high-ticket sales, and a stint as an author scout for an online education publisher, working out who genuinely had something to teach and who just wanted to be heard. The pattern was impossible to miss: the best teachers were the worst at being found. That’s how my marketing agency Infokus started.

The same skills turned out to travel to tech. If you think your product or your voice genuinely helps people, I’m all ears.

I only work with people I’d want to spend time with.

Most of the work happens through a screen. Somehow I keep ending up with clients who travel as much as I do.

One of them had always wanted to see whales — so had I — so I found the place and we spent a weekend in Mexico. Another is the chief medical officer of a major golf tournament: we worked remotely for almost a year, then my team and I flew in for one of the events to surprise him and shot content between rounds.

And a German client posted me a box of his own supplements, with a special protocol, while I was recovering from knee surgery in South Africa.

None of it was in the service agreement.

That isn’t a perk, it’s the whole point. I’d rather have ten clients I’d get on a plane for than fifty I wouldn’t.

60+ countries, lived in six from Malaysia to Mexico, worked English-speaking markets from Australia to the US.

What I’m focusing my time on lately

Mostly AI: automations and agentic workflows for the agency, for clients, and for making my own week less “busy”. And the harder question underneath it — where the line goes between the AI and the human.

Away from the desk: phone-free Sundays, new kiteboarding tricks, and going sugar free. Again.
